Bacon Cookies for the holidays

Courtesy of our hungarian bacontarian, here’s a recipe for german bacon cookies.

I haven’t tried these (yet), but it sounds too good to be true.

Sorry for not posting this myself, and Tomas, thank you for your speedy publication. Bacontarians shoud not be discriminated against in the Christmas cookie area. But just to be clear, I haven’t tried them either. However, I absolutely encourage testing and public review. Maybe you can cut them into little reindeer shapes!

We’re going to a 12 hour cookie baking marathon with local bike messenger hooligans this weekend. If I can keep from getting face down drunk I think I’m going to have to give these a try… will report back findings.

You could also try these (which look like they might be tastier).
