Welcome to Bacontarian.com

bacontarian.com is dedicated to bringing the wonders of bacon to the world. We are a group of bacon/pork enthusiasts, who firmly believe that bacon and affiliated eats are way underrepresented on-line. We will try and bring you the best recipe’s, write-ups of parties featuring bacon, or just general prokish rants.

I must aggree with dug on the applegate farms bacon. I was inspired to pick up this bacon after a night of heavy drinking and eating at Peter Luger’s. If you’ve never tried the bacon at Peter Luger’s, you’re missing out on some dandy carnage. Applegate Farms Bacon, although pre-packaged and thin, doesn’t dissapoint and is a perfect accompaniment to a good hangover and cup of coffee.

You guys are dumber than a bag of hammers!

  3. tkrag says:

Wow, that’s a pretty insulting statement. Whether to us or to the bag of hammers, may be debated, but the comparison is harsh :-)

In fact, I entirely fail to see how our love of bacon is in any way related to our intelligence, but on the other hand, some of my best friends are hammers…..

HA! This is great. You guys should check out my friend Michelle @ http://ieatpiggies.com. She’s without internet at the moment and hasn’t been able to update, but I have a feeling that y’all would get along really great!

I came across your site via kottke.org. I’m wondering if you’ve seen the comic strip Barkeater Lake, United Media. It features a dog named Banks who loves bacon as one loves a god, or fine chocolates.

Is that to pork as pr0n is to porn?

Well, most of us don’t get to sleep with pornography film actors, but we do all get to eat pork. Your question reminds me that I have been giving some thought to pork products as a sexual aide, but I must save those musings until they have congealed a bit.

i have just written a book all about pork, Spanish hams, American barbecue, the history of pork, the flavor of pork, the pork taboo, and sustainable agriculture. It is called Pig Perfect and you can look it up on Amazon.com.

needless to say I love pork and this book is a love letter to pigs and pork.

And lo, the Right and Honorable Reverend Kaminsky’s book has been pre-ordered …

We eagerly await a review of this tome of pork.

Especially for thos of us who live in regions of the world where shiping a book from the US would cost the equivalent of a few good kilos of organic back bacon.
